The Enterprise Applications Division has overall responsibility for the development, maintenance, and support of the Gwinnett County core business systems. The staff leverages best practices in software maintenance and testing to ensure that software applications remain in good working order. The application support function is critical in maintaining a reliable and highly available application environment to enable the County departments to execute appropriate business processes in support of the delivery of Gwinnett's portfolio of services. The division is comprised of the Business Solutions team and the ERP Solutions team.
Business Solutions
The Business Solutions team provides all County departments with technical expertise, application development, database support, custom coding, and user support for all non-SAP applications. In addition to routine software support, the team enables County departments to utilize the extensive portfolio of available business applications to enhance business processes through automation.
ERP Solutions
The ERP Solution teams are responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous support of all ERP-based business applications. The teams are composed of technical and functional experts, application and report developers, and system architects, offering a comprehensive approach to system management. Technical experts oversee system configuration, troubleshooting, and integration, ensuring smooth connectivity with other platforms. Functional analysts work to align the ERP system with business needs and improve processes. System architects design the system architecture for scalability, performance, and security, while also ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and accommodating future growth.
