(Lawrenceville, Ga., May 21, 2026) – Gwinnett County officials will honor fallen military and public service heroes during its annual Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 25 at 1 p.m.

(Lawrenceville, Ga., May 21, 2026) – Gwinnett County Government and Gwinnett County Public Schools are partnering to boost kindergarten readiness and close the early learning gap across Gwinnett. Earlier this month, the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners approved an agreement with Gwinnett County Public Schools to launch an early learning center in Snellville.

(Lawrenceville, Ga., May 15, 2026) – The Gwinnett County Board of Assessors mailed approximately 311,000 annual Notices of Assessment to residential and commercial property owners today.

WHAT:       Gwinnett County will host its annual Supplier Networking and Resource Fair, providing local businesses with direct access to county buyers, contracting officers and regional partners

(Lawrenceville, Ga., May 5, 2026) – The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution establishing a formal definition of “Local Small Business,” advancing the County’s efforts to expand access to contracting opportunities and strengthen participation from the local business community.

WHAT:    Gwinnett County will celebrate the launch of the Georgia Mobility and Access Planner. Providing real-time navigation and turn-by-turn directions, the mobile app offers personalized trip planning to support travelers with disabilities, older adults and people with limited English proficiency. This event will include a ribbon cutting, field demonstrations and a community event with local organizations.

(Lawrenceville, Ga.,  April 20, 2026) – Gwinnett County mourns the loss of Gwinnett Superior Court Judge Deborah Fluker, who passed away Saturday following a courageous battle with cancer.

(Gwinnett County, Ga., March 24, 2026) – Gwinnett County officials proudly announce that UCB, a global biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, will build its first U.S. pharmaceutical biologics manufacturing facility at Rowen, a 2,000-acre innovation and knowledge community in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

(Athens, Ga., March 23, 2026) – The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners wrapped up its 2026 Strategic Planning Session last week, focusing on priorities, performance and how the County will continue to meet the needs of a growing community.
