Gwinnett County Police Department 82nd Police Academy Graduation

You are cordially invited to attend the graduation of the 82nd Gwinnett County Police Academy This ceremony will be held on Thursday, February 17th at 6:30 p.m. and take place at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration (GJAC) Auditorium, located at 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville.
The Gwinnett County Police Department is pleased to announce that the 82nd Academy will graduate 34 police officers this evening and is one of the largest graduating classes in over 10 years. This graduating class has trained for a minimum of 808 hours over the course of 20 weeks in order to complete their Academy training.
The Gwinnett County Police Department continues with its commitment to put as many police officers on the street to keep the citizens of Gwinnett County safe and provide the best service possible. These officers receive the best training in the state and are committed to making that possible.
Only through hard work and dedication have these recruits successfully completed training and now stand ready to attain State of Georgia certification as law enforcement officers. Their training was intensive and graduation marks a significant step along their journey towards becoming a working Police Officer in Gwinnett County. Each of these graduates will embark upon a 60 work-day Field Training Program following Thursday’s ceremony.
