MISSING PERSON LOCATED – ERICK MOISES HERNANDEZ LOPEZ

UPDATE #1: (Norcross, Ga., Nov. 3, 2023) – The lead detective assigned to this case confirmed that Erick’s phone was used to obtain a taxi ride from Erick’s known address to a local area hospital in Duluth on August 17. Detectives then were able to confirm a Hispanic male by another name passed away at the same hospital two days later on August 19. Detectives followed up at the hospital and found the hospital was unable to make next-of-kin notifications on this deceased male. Those remains were ultimately sent to a nearby funeral home, where they were cremated. The lead detective followed up with that funeral home and was able to locate a wallet containing the property of Erick Moises Hernandez Lopez along with Erick’s cellphone. Detectives do not have any evidence of foul play, and it is believed that Erick died at the hospital by natural causes under another name.
