WHAT:        District 3 Commissioner Jasper Watkins will host a town hall to discuss mental health resources available to the community. The town hall will feature a screening of the docuseries Upfront Gwinnett: Suffering in Silence, followed by a panel discussion with advocates and experts and resource tabling.

Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.

WHEN:       Monday, Sept. 9, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

WHO:         District 3 Commissioner Jasper Watkins III will moderate a panel of experts and community advocates, including:

• Gwinnett Probate Judge Chris Ballar
• Gwinnett Police Behavioral Health Unit Sgt. David Smith
• View Point Health PASS Clinician Kamarya Isom
• Gwinnett Sheriff Mental Health Task Force Director Dr. Dana Tatum
• Mental health advocate Christian Giddens

Subject matter experts from Gwinnett Police, GUIDE Inc. and Restoring Hearts for the Brave will also be present to answer questions.
