GWINNETT OFFICIALS TO CUT RIBBON ON NEW SNELLVILLE LIBRARY, BUSINESS CENTER

WHAT:       Gwinnett County will host a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of the new Elizabeth H. Williams Branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library and the City of Snellville Business Center.

The new 44,000-square-foot facility is part of The Grove at Town Center development in Snellville. The two-story building houses the library on the first floor, while the city of Snellville will use the second floor as a business center. Features of the new library include adult, teen and children’s areas, 30 computer workstations and a multipurpose room.

The library and business center are the result of a partnership with the city of Snellville. The County’s share of the project is funded by the 2017 SPLOST program.

WHEN:       Monday, Sept. 18, 2023, at 11 a.m.

WHO:         Gwinnett County Public Library Executive Director Charles Pace will emcee the event. Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson, District 3 Commissioner Jasper Watkins III, Snellville Mayor Barbara Bender and Gwinnett County Public Library Board of Trustees Chair Jonathan “JT” Wu will provide remarks.
