Mission
The Board of Commissioners County Administrator appoints a County Administrator who manages the day-to-day functions of county government. The County Administrator carries out policies established by the Board of Commissioners and manages 12 administrative departments.

Staffing in this office includes the County Administrator, a Deputy County Administrator, the County Clerk, and administrative support. In addition, Communications, Community Outreach, Economic Development, Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful, and Internal Audit are part of the Office of the County Administrator.
