American Red Cross Blood Drive

Retiree Badges Available

If you are interested in obtaining a retiree badge, walk in to the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 10:00am and 3:00pm to 4:00pm. The retiree badge will be for identification purposes only and will not grant access to any County facility, building, or parking deck.

Join us for the monthly Caregiver Support Group

A caregiver is anyone who feels responsible for another person’s welfare (financial, emotional, and supportive) because of illness, frailty, life changes, and/or losses. If you care for your relative, spouse, or loved one, join us for our monthly support group meetings from a caregiver, join us for our monthly support group meetings from noon to 1:00pm in GJAC second floor, Support Services Conference Room.

Retiree Bereavement Notices
We regretfully announce the recent deaths of the following retirees:

Albert W. Hill Sr., who passed away Friday, April 6. Albert served the County for 14 years in the Public Utilities Department before he retired in 1999. His memorial service was held Saturday, April 14 at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church, located at 422 East Crogan Street in Lawrenceville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Ronald McDonald House Charities by visiting Online condolences may be expressed here. Jerry Crowe, who passed away Thursday, April 5. Jerry served the County for six years in the Sheriff’s Office before he retired in 2012. Funeral arrangements are unknown at this time, but more information will be provided if it becomes available. Condolences may be expressed here. Please keep Jerry’s family, friends, and former coworkers in your thoughts and prayers.

George Mount, who passed away Sunday, February 25. George served the County for 11 years in the Department of Planning and Development before he retired in 2000. Condolences may be expressed online here. Please keep George’s family, friends, and former coworkers in your thoughts and prayers.
