1 Female, 2 Males Charged in Robbery at Loganville Credit Union

(Loganville, Georgia)  A detective assigned to the Gwinnett County Police Department Robbery Unit has charged 3 suspects for their involvement in a Robbery at a local credit union. On Friday, November 3 at around 10:30am, 2 suspects (1 male and 1 female) walked into the Georgia’s Own Credit Union at 2437 Loganville Highway in unincorporated Loganville.  They waited for an available teller and presented a note.  The note demanded money and indicated that the female had a bomb.

The teller complied with the demands and the suspects left the bank with the stolen cash.  They got into a waiting SUV being driving by a 3rd suspect (male).  Following the robbery at this credit union, the lead detective believes that the suspects went to Douglas County and committed a similar robbery in their jurisdiction.

The officers in Douglas County arrested the male suspect, Devon Morris (age 17, Decatur), and the male driver, a 16-year old juvenile.   Morris is currently incarcerated at the Douglas County Jail, and the juvenile is incarcerated in a local youth detention facility.

The female suspect has been identified as Nilsa Urena (age 25, Philadelphia, PA).  Her whereabouts are currently unknown.

Morris and Urena have active warrants for one count of Robbery, and the juvenile has been charged with Robbery on a Juvenile Complaint Form.  Once their charges are resolved in Douglas County, they will be transferred to the Gwinnett County Jail.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Nilsa Urena, please contact GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300.  To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.  Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.  Case Number:  17-102729
