Update #1, 09/11/2019: Suspect #2 has been identified as Randy Levi Durden (age 23, Monroe).  Both Randy and Steven Alvarez have been arrested and booked into the Gwinnett County Jail. 

Randy has been charged with Burglary 1^st Degree, Theft by Taking, and Giving False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer.  Steven is facing an additional charge of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property. 

Original, 09/06/2019: (Dacula, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department Burglary Unit needs the public’s help in locating one burglary suspect and identifying the other. 

On August 26, a burglary occurred at a home on Melton Commons Drive in Dacula.  Steven D. Alvarez (age 26) has been identified as one of the suspects.  The other suspect remains unidentified. 

Alvarez currently has two warrants for his arrest: Burglary & Theft by Taking. 

Suspect #2 is a heavy set white male, about 25-29 years old with a beard and a tattoo on his left forearm.
