Investigators Seek the Public’s Help to Identify Vehicle in Hit and Run

(Duluth, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a vehicle involved in a hit and run on February 15th.  The police were notified of a male in the middle of the roadway on Pleasant Hill Road at Club Drive at 7:06 PM.  When officers arrived, they located the victim, Aurelio Peneda.

Peneda had been struck by a vehicle and suffered serious injuries.  Investigators believe that he was trying to cross Pleasant Hill Road but there were no witnesses or camera footage.

Investigators believe that there may be witnesses or people who have knowledge of this incident.  Those people are strongly encouraged to contact the police department to share that information so that investigators can identify the vehicle involved in this accident.
