(Snellville, Georgia)  A 21 year old male died in an early Sunday (09/08/2019) morning accident on Stone Mountain Highway just west of the intersection with Kilian Hill Road. The deceased, Anthony Davis (Snellville), died as a result of being struck by a silver Volkswagen Jetta as he was crossing the street. Davis was transported from the scene to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.

Based on the preliminary investigation Davis was crossing the roadway while not using a crosswalk, and was struck by the silver Jetta.

The department’s Accident Investigation Unit (AIU) is still undergoing this investigation.
