Update #2, 12/02/2019: The suspect has been identified as Eriberto Villanueva (age 28, Atlanta).  He has two active warrants for his arrest.  The warrants are for Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault.  His whereabouts are currently unknown.  We are seeking tips on his location through Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.

The crime is believed to have begun as an argument that escalated into a fatal shooting.

Update #1, 11/30/2019: The victim in this case has been identified as Benedicto Granados (30) of Lawrenceville.  Notification to next of kin has been made.  Detectives are still investigating the motive and possible suspect(s) in this case. 

Original 11/29/2019: (Lilburn, Georgia)  Gwinnett County Police are currently investigating a homicide on Barnaby Ct. in unincorporated Lilburn.  Shortly before 3:00am patrol units assigned to the Western Precinct responded to a report of a person shot at 5483 Barnaby Ct.  When they arrived they found a 30 year old Hispanic male with gunshot wounds to the upper body.  Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services transported the victim to a local hospital where the victim died.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending next of kin notification.  The victim does not reside at the address and was visiting friends/family for Thanksgiving.  Suspect information is unknown at this time, but detectives do not believe this crime to be random.
