Gateway 85 CID will reimburse the County for up to $150,000.00 for costs incurred during preliminary engineering and $600,000.00 for costs incurred to complete the construction phase via the State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA) Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank (GTIB) Grant Program. The Town of Braselton will be responsible for a 19 percent match of $10,112.62. The change order will increase the County's contribution to the 2017 SPLOST City-managed project by $483,388.31.
