The grant application will request $25,000,000.00 to be used to construct a multi-use trail from McDaniel Farm Park to Ring Road enabling connectivity with the redevelopment of Gwinnett Place Mall and the Gwinnett County Transit Center. If awarded, the County will provide, from SPLOST funding, a total of $8,000,000.00 in local funds which includes the required $6,250,000.00 matching grant funds and $1,750,000.00 which will allow for the completion of the project, for a total project cost of $33,000,000.00.
