• Fires are restricted to park grills and fire rings unless otherwise posted or approved
• All pets must be on a leash, except in designated dog park areas

• Vehicles and parking are restricted to designated areas and by recreation facility users only

• Pyrotechnics and engine powered models or toys are restricted
• Caution – Pedestrians have the right-of-way
• Launching hot air balloons and hobby rockets is restricted

Prohibited in parks:

• Please use playground components that are appropriate for the age and ability of the child
• Skateboards or roller blades are prohibited on the playground

All rules are enforceable under the law.

• Use dog park at your own risk – please do not use dog park during inclement weather
• Limit 50 people in each area
• Dogs must display current rabies tag
• Keep all gates closed
• You are responsible for any damage or injury caused by your dog. Gwinnett County shall not be held liable for any injury or damage caused by a dog
  
• Dogs should be under voice command
• Dog owners must remain with their dog at all times
• Always clean up after your dog, place litter and animal waste in trash containers
• Owner must fill all holes made by their dog
• Limit two dogs per owner
• Unruly or rough playing dogs must be immediately removed from the play area

Prohibited in the dog park:

• Aggressive dogs
• Dogs in heat
• Dogs with contagious conditions or illnesses
• Spike or pinch/prong collars
• Unsupervised children
• Food – human or animal
• Glass containers
• Commercial activity without a permit issued by Gwinnett Parks and Recreation
• Tobacco, alcohol, or illegal drugs
• Abandonment of dogs per Gwinnett County Ordinance Section 10-9: 
  It shall be unlawful for anyone to knowingly abandon or to aid in the abandonment of any domestic animal. An animal relinquished through written agreement with the animal welfare division, licensed rescue group, licensed shelter, licensed veterinarian, individual, or other entity shall not be deemed abandoned but shall be considered relinquished to the entity or individual.

• Please play carefully; use at your own risk
• Use caution when playing; surfaces can become slippery
• Proper swim attire is required
• Footwear is recommended
• Anyone using a diaper (or not potty trained) must wear a swim diaper
• Children 10 and younger must always be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older
• Never leave children unattended
• The fountain will close for heavy rain, thunder, and lightning
• All trash must be disposed of in trash bins

 

Prohibited in the fountains:

• Pets
• Anyone with open cuts, wounds, blisters, or illness
• Glass, food, beverages, gum, alcohol, tobacco products, and drugs
• Skates, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, tricycles, and other similar items
• Grills, cooking equipment, or open flames
• Balloons, water balloons, water guns, sidewalk chalk, party decorations, and silly string
• Rocks, small objects, and clothing with frayed materials that may create hazardous conditions or interfere with fountain operations
• Amplified sound or music
• Running, rough play, pushing, shoving, abuse, or profane language
• Littering, spitting, or urinating on the fountain

  

Group Usage Guidelines

• A reservation is required for daycares, camps, and organized groups larger than 10 people before visiting the fountain; reservations do not allow exclusive use
• A supervisor of one adult for every 10 children under the age of 10 is required at all times
• A rental permit is required for exclusive use of the fountain; rental fees and procedures apply

• Trails open from sunrise to sunset
• Ride only on marked equestrian trails
• Shortcuts or new trails prohibited
• Horses must be controlled at all times
• Pedestrians step aside for equestrians
• Use caution and watch for pedestrians
• Proof of current Coggins required on all horses in park
• Horses shall always be attended, tie only in designated areas
• Horses prohibited in pavilions
• Move all hay and manure from parking area to compost
• Place hay and manure in compost bin
• Call 911 for emergency help

Warning: Skateboarding and skating are hazardous recreational activities. Use of this facility may result in death, paralysis, brain damage, concussion, broken bones, or other serious injuries. Use at your own risk. Gwinnett County does not assume any responsibilities for injuries.

• All users should wear helmets, wrist guards, knee, and elbow pads
• All organized events must obtain a Gwinnett Parks and Recreation permit

• Introduction of other elements or altering existing elements in the skate park area

• Amplified sound, except by permit

• Trails open from sunrise to sunset
• No motorized vehicles
• Motorized personal mobility devices permitted
• Pedestrians have the right-of-way
• Bike and skate speeds must be controlled to prevent unsafe conditions
• Keep right of center and pass on left
• Announce yourself as you approach from behind. Example: "On your left!"
• If you stop, get off the trail
• All pets must be on a leash and kept right of center. Place animal waste in trash containers
