The Investment Committee was created as a subsidiary committee by resolution of the Board of Commissioners on September 19, 2006 to assist the Retirement Plans Committee.

Appointed members serve three-year limited terms.

One appointee of the County Administrator – Department Director or Deputy Department Director of Gwinnett County

Ex-Officio Member – Director or Deputy Director of the Finance Department of Gwinnett County (who is not serving on any other RPMC Committee)

Ex-Officio Member – Deputy Director of Human Resources of Gwinnett County

Ex-Officio Member – Treasury Division Director or Investment Manager of Finance Department of Gwinnett County

Ex-Officio Member – County Attorney or any Deputy or Assistant County Attorney of the Gwinnett County as determined by the County Attorney)

Generally, the Investment Committee meetings are held on the first or second Wednesday of each month at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, Second Floor, Dogwood Conference Room, 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville. Developing and updating the Investment Policy and Funding Policy Statements for consideration and approval by the RPMC;

Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the Investment Managers;

Conducting searches for new or replacement Investment Managers;

Recommending the hiring and termination of Investment Managers to the RPMC
