HomeFirst Gwinnett operates the County’s Coordinated Entry System and has real time data on what housing services are available within the county for all participating agencies within the Homelessness & Housing Response Team. HomeFirst Gwinnett’s one-stop-shop helps determine what programs individuals and families qualify for and connects them to partner agencies that can provide services and support. Apply for assistance through HomeFirst Gwinnett.
Assistance for renters is also available through Project RESET 2.0, which uses Emergency Rental Assistance Program funds to provide rental and utility assistance payments. This program is as an alternative to eviction for non-payment of rent due to a documented COVID-19 impact. Apply for Emergency Rental Assistance.
