(Lawrenceville, GA., Mar. 9, 2023) – Gwinnett County Fire Investigators are trying to determine the exact circumstances surrounding a grass fire that damaged six homes Sunday afternoon.

According to investigators, firefighters responded to a report of a house fire on the 100 block of Springbottom Drive SE in Lawrenceville. When crews arrived on the scene at 4:26 p.m., they discovered that a large area grass fire damaged the exterior siding on six homes and a wooden privacy fence on a seventh property. There were no injuries reported at this incident nor did the fire displace any families in the affected houses.
