UPDATE: (Lawrenceville, Ga., August 31, 2022) – The Gwinnett Police Department has arrested Le’Quan Dempsey (16 year old male, Avondale Estates) in connection with this case. Dempsey has been charged in Superior Court with two counts felony murder, two counts aggravated assault, two counts armed robbery, and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

ORIGINAL: (Snellville, Ga., July 21, 2022) – Shortly after 12:30 AM officers from the South Precinct responded to a person shot call on Lake Dr.

Officers arrived on scene and located two males deceased from gunshot wounds.  The Homicide Unit is on scene investigating and the Crime Scene Unit is processing the scene for evidence.
