UPDATE #1: GWINNETT POLICE INVESTIGATING MURDER ON RIDGE OAK DRIVE, SUWANEE

Update:  The Gwinnett Police Homicide Unit is seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual seen on camera walking towards and then away from the homicide scene on Ridge Oak Drive.  The suspect is wearing a black hoodie with a reflective strip, black pants, white shoes and carrying a two-strap backpack.  If anyone has seen this individual in the area, has any information or may have additional camera footage from the day of the homicide, please call the Gwinnett Police Homicide Unit at 770-513-5300 or to remain anonymous call the Crime Stoppers tipline. 

Original:  (Suwanee, Ga., September 5, 2022) – The Gwinnett County Police Department responded to a medical call on Ridge Oak Drive, Suwanee at approximately 10:00 A.M. for the report of a person down in the front yard of a residence.  When officers arrived, they initially located one deceased male in his 40’s suffering from an apparent stab wound. 

The Gwinnett County Police Department’s Homicide and Crime Scene Investigations Units are currently on scene conducting the investigation.  At this time, the motive for the incident is unknown and no arrests have been made.  Gwinnett County Police investigators are asking the public to contact the police department with any information relevant to this investigation.
