GWINNETT POLICE INVESTIGATING AN AGGRAVATED ASSAULT IN NORCROSS, GA

(Norcross, Ga., May 7, 2021) – The Gwinnett Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving an aggravated assault incident, involving a male who was shot in front of an apartment building in Norcross.

On May 1, 2021 Officers responded to 1355 Graves Rd just after 9:05 PM to investigate reports of the sound of gunfire. When officers arrived, they discovered a male with at least one gunshot wound to the lower back area. Witnesses reported seeing a Hispanic male shoot the victim from behind. The male fled the scene but Detectives believe he frequents the Norcross and Tucker areas specifically Graves Rd and Pine Dr.

At this time, investigators are trying to determine the suspects identify.  Detectives are asking any witnesses to come forward and provide any information they have on the shooting or the suspects’ identity.
