Gwinnett Police Ask for Public's Help in Identifying Rape Suspect

(Duluth, Ga., November 17, 2020) – The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a violent rape suspect.  On September 20th, the victim was walking on Pleasant Hill Road when she was grabbed from behind and attacked by an unknown male suspect.

The victim was dragged into the wood line on the 2500 block of Pleasant Hill Road and sexually assaulted by the suspect.  The victim sustained serious injuries along with being sexual assaulted.

The suspect is described as a 20’s to 30’s black male with dreadlocks.  He was wearing khaki pants, a white striped shirt, and he had backpack.  A sketch artist was able to work with the victim to create a photograph of the suspect.  Detectives are asking for the public’s help in either identifying the male or providing information on the case.
