(Lawrenceville, Ga., March 1, 2023) – Around 1:05PM officers responded to 651 Paden Mill Trl. to follow up on a missing persons call.  While searching the area officers located a 16-year-old male behind the house deceased by a gunshot wound.  

Gwinnett Police Homicide Detectives are on scene interviewing witnesses.  The Crime Scene Unit is currently processing the scene for evidence.  There is currently no suspect description, and the motive is not known at this time.  The victim’s information is being withheld until next of kin is notified.
