UPDATE #1: HOMICIDE – ROXWOOD PARK DRIVE - BUFORD

On September 28th, Moses Dyl was arrested in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  He is charged with Aggravated Assault and Felony Murder.  Dyl is accused of murdering Shakeya Smith after a domestic argument. 

Original Release:

(Buford, Georgia)  GCPD Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide that occurred on Roxwood Park Drive at Woodward Mill road that resulted in the death of one person.

At approximately 5:09 am officers assigned to the North Precinct responded to an injured person in the roadway.  When officers arrived they located one female victim, already deceased. The identity of the victim is unknown at this time.

CSI is processing the scene and Detectives are working on a timeline of events, identity of the victim, and exact cause of death. There is no suspect information at this time.
