COMMISSIONER HOLTKAMP KICKS OFF NEW SMALL BUSINESS SERIES: “LOCAL VOICES, LOCAL PLACES”
(Lawrenceville, Ga., April 18, 2025) – District 4 Commissioner Matthew Holtkamp is starting something new and local, an event series that highlights the small businesses and restaurants that make Gwinnett County feel like home. Join him for the very first Local Voices, Local Places at Reveille Café on April 21, from 7 a.m. until 8:30 a.m..
The informal meet and greet encourages residents to drop in, enjoy breakfast and engage in one-on-one conversation with Holtkamp. The series aims to highlight local businesses while offering an open-door setting for residents to share thoughts, ask questions and connect over conversation.
“As a small business owner myself, I understand how important it is to stay connected with the people you serve,” said Holtkamp. “Local Voices, Local Places is all about celebrating the businesses that anchor our neighborhoods and hearing directly from residents about what matters most to them.”
Local Voices, Local Places is designed to strengthen connections between residents and local businesses while celebrating the people behind them. Future activities will include tours, conversations with business owners and spotlight content to be shared across County platforms.
Reveille Café is located at 5885 Cumming Hwy NE in Sugar Hill.
