GWINNETT COUNTY TO CELEBRATE INSTALLATION OF PUBLIC ART AT BICENTENNIAL PLAZA AND TRAILHEAD

WHAT:            Gwinnett County officials will celebrate the installation of public art at the Bicentennial Plaza and Trailhead with two stainless steel sculptures — “Make A Wish” and “Vibrantly Connected.” Designed by Georgia artist David Landis, the sculptures enhance the plaza space and trail, representing Gwinnett County’s vibrantly connected community and beautifying the communal space for residents, families and visitors to enjoy.

WHEN:           Monday, June 2, 2025, at 11 a.m.

WHO:              Speakers will includeGwinnett County Board of CommissionersChairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson, District 3 Commissioner Jasper Watkins III, city of Lawrenceville Mayor David Still and artist David Landis. Deb Tuff, Gwinnett County’s media relations strategist, will serve as the emcee.

Parking is available next to the Bicentennial Plaza at Lawrenceville Lawn, located at 210 Luckie St. in Lawrenceville.
