GWINNETT COUNTY LEADERS HOST THIRD REDISTRICTING OPEN HOUSE FOLLOWED BY AMERICAN RESCUE PLANS ACT TOWN HALL

WHAT: The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is hosting a series of Open Houses for residents to come out, see maps and ask questions about redistricting for Gwinnett County commission districts. Redistricting happens once every 10 years.

The open house will be immediately followed by a sit-down session where residents will hear from County leaders and staff on how the County plans to spend the $181-million dollars in federal funds. Residents can also provide feedback on how they would like the money spent.

WHEN:  Thursday, Dec.16, 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. 

  • The Redistricting Open House will be held in the atrium of the Gwinnett Justice and Administration building from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.
  • The presentation on the County’s use of American Rescue Plan Act funding will immediately follow in the building’s auditorium from 7:05 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

WHO: District 4 Commissioner Marlene Fosque will host the third redistricting open house.
