(Gwinnett County, Ga., May 16, 2022) – The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Unit has Deavian Jasiri-Teeir Netters in custody. Netters is charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. His charges are regarding a homicide that occurred on April 24, 2021, at the Mirzah Hookah Lounge.

After one year as a fugitive of justice, fugitive investigators determined that Netters was back in Gwinnett County. Due to the severity of Netters' charges and his previous history with law enforcement, Georgia State Patrol SWAT assisted with executing the search warrant at the residence. Upon initial contact with the house, Netters attempted to flee out the back of the house and was confronted by other officers causing Netters to return inside. He surrendered shortly after.

Netters is housed at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.
