PHOTO OPPORTUNITY AT THE COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS FAIR – BREAKING THE STIGMA

(Gwinnett County, Ga., May 7, 2022) – The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office Mental Health Task Force is hosting their inaugural Community Mental Health Awareness Fair – Breaking the Stigma in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. As part of the event, mental health advocates and resources from the metropolitan Atlanta area will be onsite to provide information to all attendees. Along with mental health resources, we will have veteran assistance personnel for our local active and retired military service men and women.

Members of the Mental Health Task Force will be available for a photo opportunity, and I will be available for a sound bite.

When: Saturday, May 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Where: Alexander Park, Lois Lane Pavilion, 800 Old Snellville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30044
