(Gwinnett County, Ga., May 21, 2022) – The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office will host it’s Become a Star Career Expo on Saturday, May 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. After nearly two years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have opened our doors to resume recruitment efforts in person. Our event will have live K9s, Jail Dogs, and drone demonstrations and multiple new initiatives and units available for photo opportunities. Public information officers will be onsite for sound bites.

We have a $3,200 to $4,200 hiring bonus. The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office offers the following benefits: medical, retirement, tuition reimbursement, a wellness incentive program, an employee assistance program, 13-paid holidays during the year, 13-paid vacation days, 13-paid sick-leave days, employee meals, uniforms with equipment, 6 percent pay increase when assigned to a Specialty Unit, 3 to 6 percent educational incentive for associate and bachelor’s degrees, respectively, and so much more.
