We'd like to hear from you! Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson presented her proposed budget to guide County spending in 2024 during a briefing to the Board of Commissioners on November 14. Residents and community stakeholders are invited to provide comments on the budget in person on Monday, December 4 at 6:30pm in the auditorium of the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center located at 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville. In addition, the proposed budget resolution is available for public review and comments now through the end of the year.

Chairwoman Hendrickson continued the tradition of forming a budget review committee made up of residents and businesspeople. After hearing presentations from elected officials and department directors in August, the group studied departmental business plans, budget needs, and revenue projections to make recommendations for the budget.

Commissioners will consider the budget for adoption during the first meeting of the year on January 2, 2024.
