Comments on Proposed 2022 Budget

We'd like to hear from you! Chairwoman Nicole Hendrickson presented her final proposed budget to guide County spending for the 2022 fiscal year during a briefing to the Board of Commissioners on November 16. A public hearing will be held December 6 at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center. In addition, the proposed budget resolution is available for public review and comment now through the end of the year.

Chairwoman Hendrickson continued the tradition of forming a five-member budget review committee made up of county residents and businesspeople. After hearing presentations from elected officials and department directors in August and September, the group studied departmental business plans, budget needs, and revenue projections to make recommendations for the budget.
