Advance voting for July 28 Special Election for United States Congressional District 13 now underway

Advance voting for the July 28 Special Election for United States Congressional District 13 is Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 24.  

Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 7:00pm 

Saturdays: 9:00am – 6:00pm 

Sundays: noon – 5:00pm 

There are three advance in-person voting locations around the County for this election: 

  • Gwinnett County Voter Registrations and Elections Beauty P. Baldwin Building, located at 455 Grayson Highway, Suite 200, Lawrenceville 
  • Gwinnett Community Resource Center at Bethany Church Road (formerly OneStop Centerville), located at 3025 Bethany Church Road, Snellville 
  • Lucky Shoals Park Community Recreation Center, located at 4651 Britt Road, Norcross 

Registered voters can vote advance in-person at any Gwinnett County advance voting location. Visit our advance voting page to find a location and be sure to check wait times as some locations may have shorter wait times. 

Only voters in United States Congressional District 13 will vote in this election.

Absentee by mail voting

Voters may request an absentee by mail ballot for the July 28 Special Election for United States Congressional District 13 now through Friday, July 17. Voting absentee by mail is an option for all voters.  

A completed application must be received before an absentee by mail ballot is issued. Please complete the absentee ballot application form online or call the Gwinnett Voter Registrations and Elections office at 678.226.7210 to request an application.  

If you are a voter in this district who chose to receive absentee-by-mail ballots for all elections in this cycle or are on a rollover list, your absentee ballot application will not roll over to the July 28 Special Election. Voters must submit a separate absentee ballot application for the July 28 Special Election. 

Voted absentee by mail ballots must be returned by Tuesday, July 28 at 7:00pm. Ballots can be returned by mail, hand-delivered to the Gwinnett Voter Registrations and Elections office at 455 Grayson Highway, Suite 200, in Lawrenceville, or taken to any of the three advance voting locations during advance voting days and hours. No postage is necessary.
