Learn MoreGwinnett County has launched an updated GwinnettCounty.com website with a new look, intuitive organization, and updated features to improve your online experience. The updated site ensures compliance with federal accessibility requirements.
The update includes some important changes that residents and businesses should be aware of:
Single sign-on
The new website incorporates a single sign-on login. To log in, residents will be prompted to enter the email address used to create their profile instead of a username. Existing account passwords associated with a user’s email address may need to be changed to meet updated security standards.
The water bill pay feature will remain the same at this time, with a system upgrade going into effect in April. The new website layout includes a link for residents to pay their water bill on the main homepage.

Any previous bookmarks to pages on GwinnettCounty.com must be updated to link to the correct page on the new website. Previous bookmarks will no longer work and must be bookmarked again.

Features of the new website include:
- Enhanced user experience: Streamlined navigation and improved search functionality to allow residents to find information more efficiently.
- Accessibility features: Adjustable font sizes, dark/light display modes, and full screen reader compatibility to provide residents more capability to access County services.
- Modern, responsive design: The mobile-optimized design reflects current best practices, with a services-centric approach focused on residents.
- Maintained capabilities: Translation services remain available and will be more visible, and custom applications like Water Bill Pay will continue function without interruption.
- Federal compliance: Full compliance with WCGAG 2.1 Level AA standards, meeting the 2026 federal regulation deadline for jurisdictions over 50,000 population.
We appreciate your understanding during this time of transition as we strive to provide an enhanced online user experience.
