WHAT: Due to inclement weather, very challenging road conditions and hazardously low temperatures, all Gwinnett County offices – with the exception of those required for the comfort and safety of residents – are closed today.A list of services impacted is below:
Trials and hearings are cancelled and the Gwinnett County Courthouse within the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center is closed
The Clerk of Court’s office is closed. Electronic filing of pleadings remains available 24/7 through eFile GA.
All Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner’s Offices are closed
Ride Gwinnett will not operate local, commuter, microtransit or paratransit service
Solid waste collection may be delayed We ask residents to place their trash and recycle out on their regularly scheduled day. If it is not serviced that day, it will be the next day. All trash and recycling is expected to be serviced by Saturday, Jan. 25.
