Learn More(Gwinnett County, Ga., May 24, 2022) – The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office has 44 in custody from Operation Street Sweeper. This operation is our second crime suppression effort within 2022. It consisted of over 100 deputies and four crime analysts totaling over 2,784 staffing hours. During Operation Street Sweeper, 257 warrants were attempted, 90 warrants served, and 44 individuals in custody in only three days. Their charges varied from failure to appear to aggravated assault. Deputies recovered 2 stolen weapons.
