Live Healthy Gwinnett launched in 2014, Live Healthy Gwinnett encourages and engages Gwinnett County residents to invest in personal wellness while focusing on four major wellness areas: Be Active, Eat Healthy, Get Checked and Be Positive. 

Being healthy matters in Gwinnett! Live Healthy Gwinnett has relaunched the Community Health Dashboard, LiveHealthyGwinnettData.com, providing a free, dynamic, easy to use, one-stop digital resource for access to community quality of life data. You will find up-to-date demographic, education, environmental, economic, health, social determinant and equity data that highlights trends, challenges and opportunities in our Gwinnett County communities, hundreds of maps, tables and figures and promising practices.

Health and Wellness Standards have been adopted that include offering a variety of planned physical activities for people of all ages and abilities, offering healthy food and beverage options, maintaining safe and healthy environments, and upholding a tobacco-free park system to keep all park and facility users and staff safe.

Launched in 2018, Be Active Gwinnett is a recreation center on wheels bringing opportunities for safe, fun outdoor physical activity to youth in underserved, play-desert areas. This program promotes healthy habits while advocating for positive youth development and awareness of community resources.

Where do we play?
Be Active Gwinnett visits housing authorities, apartment complexes, child care facilities, extended stay hotels, faith-based facilities, new home developments, schools, camps, parks, afterschool programs, libraries, community events, and more.

How do we play?
Activities include obstacle courses, hula hoops, jump ropes, broad jump, agility hurdles, giant tunnels, pop-up soccer, jumbo stacks, parachutes, fitness spots/dice, gaga ball, flag football, junior golf, nine squares in the air, bubble soccer, and more.
