Application to Serve as County Historian on Gwinnett Historical Restoration & Preservation Board

The county historian shall be appointed by the chief judge of the Superior Court of Gwinnett County to serve in an advisory capacity, and such historian shall be an ex-officio member of the Gwinnett Historical Restoration & Preservation Board.

Process:

All candidates seeking to serve as county historian are encouraged to fill out this application.

Under local county ordinance, the chief judge of the Superior Court of Gwinnett County shall appoint the county historian.

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners will accept applications for county historian and make a recommendation to the chief judge of the Superior Court of Gwinnett County.
