    Astro Adventures

    Join us for an enchanting evening under the Georgia sky at our Telescope Night Program! Whether you're a budding astronomer or simply curious about the cosmos, this program offers a unique opportunity to explore the wonders of the universe up close. Far from the city lights (as much as possible in our area!), we'll turn our gaze upwards for an unforgettable celestial experience. Telescopes, s'mores and a hot chocolate station will be provided.

    Study Buddies & Beyond

    Sessions are designed to build professional skills, personal growth and sense of community for adults with IDD. This hands-on program combines vocational training and life-enriching activities with inclusion at its forefront. From cooking and creative arts to wellness, and vocational skills, participants will explore new strengths while enjoying a safe and supportive environment. One session each month highlights practical job skills, while the other focuses on life-enrichment and creative expression—making every meeting a chance to learn, grow, and connect with friends. We can’t wait to see you there!

    Session Structure: Welcome & Check-In (10 min) ● Simple introductions, feelings check (“thumbs up, middle, down”), review of last session as programming goes on. Main Activity (60 mins) ● assisted, adapted, step-by-step with visual cues. Break & Social Time (10 min - may be in the middle of the activity) ● Snack, stretch, restroom, and light clean-up. Reflection & Wrap-Up (10 min) ● Share one thing learned, preview next session.

    Enjoy shopping in Downtown Woodstock and Light Afternoon Tea​ at Jessa's Tea Parlor.   Registration includes bus/van travel and Light Afternoon Tea​ at noon at Jessa's Tea Parlor.  Please bring money for shopping in Downtown Woodstock. 

     

    Light Afternoon Tea​ consists of: A petit signature Salad and choice of Chicken Salad on Croissant or a Bowl of soup. Plus, three mini scones and cream and curd. Please inform us upon registration of any allergies.

    Adaptive Pickleball for All

    Join us for Adaptive Pickleball for All — a fun and inclusive program open to participants of all skill levels! Designed especially for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, this program provides a welcoming space to learn, play, and connect through the game of pickleball.

    No experience is necessary, and all equipment is provided. Wear your closed-toe shoes, and come ready to move, laugh, and learn. 

    Ages: 8 and up

    Fee: $1.25 (includes 6% State Sales Tax)
