The Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office participates in the Empower Gwinnett Government Internship Program, which is a county-funded, paid internship program. This program is only available to undergraduate students who:
- Currently live in Gwinnett County, or
- Graduated from a Gwinnett County high school.
- College student not exceeding the age of 21
Our office will only accept college (undergraduate) students for participation in the Empower Gwinnett paid internship program.
- Undergraduate students who meet the Empower Gwinnett eligibility requirements must complete both
- The Empower Gwinnett Government Internship Program application, and
- The Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office internship application.
- Law school students are not eligible for the county funded Empower Gwinnett paid program and are only required to complete the Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office internship application. Law school applicants will be notified of compensation details during the application process.
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or law school.
- Applicants must not have a felony conviction.
- Applicants must not have an active case pending in the court system.
- Applicants must comply with all rules, policies, and procedures of the Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office.
- Applicants must complete and electronically sign the online application to be considered for an internship position.
