The Public Information Office is the point of contact for media representatives. Public Information Officers, or PIOs, assist in routine news coverage, respond to major incidents, issue press releases, and arrange press conferences.

The Fire and Emergency Services Public Information Office serves as the primary point of contact for media representatives. Public Information Officers assist with routine news coverage, major incidents, press releases, interviews, and press conferences. An on-call PIO is available after hours, on weekends, and during emergencies. Media representatives may reach the Fire PIO at any time by emailing fdpio@gwinnettcounty.com.
