Help shape Gwinnett's future through 2040

There's still time to offer your feedback for the County's 2040 Unified Plan, which will be a tool for how land use, transportation, housing, open space, county infrastructure, and economic development can  work together for the betterment of all in the county.

Please take a short online survey and share your perception of Gwinnett County and how you think Gwinnett should grow and develop over the next two decades. The survey will be available until May 31. Encourage your family and friends to take it also.  Your opinion matters.

The Unified Plan, called a comprehensive plan in other jurisdictions, combines many different plans into a coordinated, working blueprint to help shape future policies by many County agencies. To better create a plan that reflects the community’s desires, Gwinnett County will collect public feedback to produce a broad, long-term vision to guide growth and development over the next 22 years as well as a short-term list of projects and programs.

The 2040 Unified Plan represents an opportunity to pause, and look ahead thoughtfully. The plan will consider and tackle a wide range of issues, community goals, and opportunities primarily in the areas of housing, transportation, economic development, open space, and land use.

You can help by conducting a living room chat with friends and neighbors through May 31 to weigh in on what Gwinnett could look like by 2040.

After the first round of public feedback, consultants will review the results, and draft some proposed polices for a second round of meetings for public input, tentatively set for later in May.
