Celebrate America Recycles Day with Gwinnett!
Celebrate America Recycles Day with Gwinnett Solid Waste and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful by dropping off electronics, clothing and sneakers, latex and oil-based paints, and tires. Paper shredding will also be available. The event will take place on Saturday, November 7 from 9:00am to noon at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds, located at 2405 Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville (please enter at the traffic light).
The following items will be collected. All materials should be place din disposable boxes or containers that will not be returned:

Paper (shredding up to five copier boxes)

Electronics ($35 cash fee per projection TV; $15 cash fee per monitor and TV; $5 cash fee per printer)

Tires without rims (limit of eight; dealer tires will not be accepted)

Oil-based and latex paint (limit of 10 gallons per vehicle; latex cans must contain 25% wet paint). No rushed cans will be accepted

Clothing and sneakers

Gwinnett Solid Waste Management partners with Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful hold its annual Earth Day recycling event every year. Stay tuned for more information about the 2027 event.

Knowledgeable Gwinnett County recycling representatives share valuable insights about the benefits of recycling and sustainability to protect our environment and natural resources. Team members continually engage the community to actively promote the three R’s: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
