Earth Day
Gwinnett Solid Waste Management partners with Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful will hold its annual Earth Day event on Saturday, April 18 from 9:00am to noon at Gwinnett Place Mall, located at 2100 Pleasant Hill Road. Residents are asked to enter off of Gwinnett Place Drive.
Residents will be able to drop off hard to recycle items such as:
- Paper (shredding up to five copier boxes available)
- Electronics ($35 cash fee for projection or console TV; $15 case fee per computer monitor or TV, and $5 cash fee per printer)
- Tires without rims (limit of eight tires; no dealer tires)
- Paint (limit of 10 gallons per vehicle)
- Clothing and sneakers
All materials should be placed in disposable containers or boxes. Containers will not be returned. This is a rain or shine event. For more information, call 770.822.7141.
America Recycles Day
Celebrate America Recycles Day with Gwinnett!
Celebrate America Recycles Day by dropping off electronics, clothing and sneakers, latex and oil-based paints, and tires. Paper shredding will also be available. Stay tuned for more details. This event is brought to you by the Gwinnett Solid Waste Management and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful.
Electronics normally recycled include CD/DVD players, cable equipment, cameras/camcorders, cash registers, cellphones, circuit boards, computers, copiers, fax machines, hard drives, keyboards, laptops, mainframes, mice, monitors, POS equipment, printers, scanners, security equipment, servers, speakers, telephone systems, televisions, terminals, typewriters, and VCR players.

Glass Recycling Event
