HELP US CLEAR THE ANIMAL SHELTER!
Gear up for some tail-wagging fun at the annual Clear the Shelters event on Saturday, August 24 at the Bill Atkinson Animal Welfare Center, and enjoy a day of free pet adoptions from 11:00am to 4:00pm with hands-on activities, music, local vendors, and more!
Do you sell pet-related products or services? Become a vendor and apply by Friday, August 16.
Before Your Visit
- There are no animal holds at any time
- You can bring family members and current pets to your meet and greet, but please be mindful of others waiting their turn
- Adoptable cats and dogs have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped
- Per Gwinnett County Ordinance (Sec. 66-7), overnight camping is prohibited
