Gwinnett County Police Department requires a substantial network of dedicated professionals to support the mission and vision of the department. To maintain the Gwinnett Standard, we thoroughly vet each employee regardless of position. The hiring process usually takes 45 to 60 days and may explore sensitive or confidential information. If hired, you’ll be joining an elite, energized, and well-qualified team of professionals. Applicants that are qualified but not selected are encouraged to apply for other positions within the department. Those who are not qualified will be advised of the reason and the length of time before a new application can be submitted.
