GWINNETT ANIMAL WELFARE & ENFORCEMENT HOSTS SHELTER PETS ROCK EVENT ON JUNE 11
(Lawrenceville, Ga., June 08, 2022) – Gwinnett County is having a rockin’ good time while finding shelter pets forever homes. On Saturday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Gwinnett Animal Welfare and Enforcement will host Shelter Pets Rock at the welfare center.
Each year, Gwinnett Animal Welfare takes in around 7,000 lost, stray and surrendered animals. This event celebrates shelter pets with family-friendly, rock-themed activities and entertainment, plus all adoption fees are waived.
“We’re excited to help people expand their family and give deserving pets a forever home,” said Manager Alan Davis. “Shelter animals make great pets with their companionship and unconditional love.”
All adoptable cats and dogs receive a microchip, spay/neuter services and rabies vaccinations. Adoptions are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
