(Wednesday, April 9, 2014 @ approximately 6:48am) The Gwinnett County Police Accident Investigation Unit is currently investigating a single vehicle accident involving one fatality. This occurred on eastbound Ronald Reagan Blvd. west of Five Forks Trickum Rd. in unincorporated Lawrenceville, within Gwinnett County.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that the driver of a black 1988 Ford Mustang was traveling eastbound on Ronald Reagan Parkway in between Bethesda Church Rd. and Five Forks Trickum Rd. The driver of the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road into a steel guardrail and tree. The driver died on scene as a result of the injuries he sustained in the collision. A witness informed investigators that the driver of the Mustang was driving at a high rate of speed with another vehicle or possibly racing that other vehicle. Investigators continue to investigate this accident.

The deceased driver has been identified as 25 year old Paul Bohaczyk of Norcross
