Learn More(Lawrenceville, Ga., Feb. 19, 2025) – Gwinnett County Police detectives are investigating a shooting that left one man deceased.
Around noon officers at the Central Precinct responded to a person shot call in the parking lot of 4915 Sugarloaf Parkway. Officers arrived and found one adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
The shooter remained on scene and was taken into custody by arriving officers. The shooter and the victim got into an argument over something about their employment. They knew each other and the altercation had nothing to do with the business at 4915 Sugarloaf Parkway. The argument was an isolated incident and there is not believed to be another other suspect involved.
