Suspects Pose as Workers to Steal High End Merchandise

(Lawrenceville, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department Robbery Unit is seeking to identify and capture a few suspects for their elaborate plan to steal high end merchandise from a local Neiman Marcus store.

On January 28, 2017, at approximately 2:30pm, two black males, wearing yellow safety vests, parked a U-Haul box truck outside of Neiman Marcus Last Call (5900 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville), and walked into the store carrying a hand truck (dolly).  The males loaded a glass display case containing over $100,000.00 in merchandise onto the dolly and attempted to remove it from the store.  They were confronted by store employees and a struggle began.  A store manager was pepper sprayed and the glass case broke.  Both suspects abandoned the U-Haul truck and fled the scene on foot.

The pictured suspects were possibly the ones who rented the U-Haul truck the day before, from a gas station in Fayetteville, GA, using a fake driver’s license and a prepaid gift card.
