TUCKER FIRE DESTROYS FIVE HOMES

(Tucker, Ga., Feb. 13, 2026) – Firefighters responded at 3:11 p.m. to a report of a house fire at the intersection of Azalea Springs Drive and Lankford Road in Tucker. The 911 caller advised that the house was on fire, and the homeowner may have gone back inside.

Upon arrival, fire crews found a single-story manufactured home on fire. Firefighters deployed multiple hose lines for firefighting and search operations. Search teams confirmed all occupants safely escaped multiple residences before firefighters’ arrival.  A total of five homes sustained heavy fire damage, with multiple other homes receiving radiant heat damage. Challenges crews faced on the scene included low water pressure from the privately owned water distribution system and a downed power line that had energized a metal fence. Georgia Power responded to the scene to address electrical safety concerns. Medical crews on scene provided rehabilitation services to all firefighters and evaluated one individual with a medical complaint, who was treated and released.

One occupant who was home at the time of the incident called 911 to report that their home was on fire. Firefighters are working with the mobile home park management and the American Red Cross to assist twenty-two displaced residents.

Fire Investigators said that the cause of the fire is under investigation.
